Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete data that Markhub received through Facebook Login, Facebook Messenger and Instagram. For everything else Markhub stores, see our Privacy Policy.

If you connected a Page or Instagram account to Markhub

• Disconnect in Markhub. Open Tools, choose Messenger or Instagram, and click Disconnect next to the account. Markhub deletes the stored access token right away and stops receiving that account's messages.
• Or remove Markhub in Facebook. Go to Facebook Settings, then Business Integrations, select Markhub and click Remove. This also ends Markhub's access.
• Delete messages already received. Messages stay in the channel that received them until a workspace owner or admin deletes them in Markhub. To have us delete all Messenger and Instagram data for your workspace, including received messages and customer names and photos, email privacy@markhub.ink from your account email with the subject "Meta data deletion".

If you messaged a business that uses Markhub

The business you messaged controls that conversation. You can ask the business to delete it, or email privacy@markhub.ink with the business name, the Page or Instagram account you messaged, and the name on your Facebook or Instagram profile. We will confirm the request with the business and delete your messages, name and profile photo from Markhub.

What happens next

We reply within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep a record. Deletion in Markhub does not delete messages from Messenger or Instagram themselves; manage those in the Meta apps.
